Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing.

In the car industry, Honda cars are known for its quality, Nissan for the cool air conditioning and Ford for the power of their trucks. Products in the market are known for something they show their customers, they are known for the value their customers receive from them. Just like us, people, we are also known for the things we possess, the things we show others, our lifestyle, our actions, our words and our thoughts. Actually, we are known by others thru our whole personality. The title of this blog is a question for each and everyone of us, what is your label ?
Nowadays, teens are hyped by the new social networking site called ASK.FM. This site let’s you create an account where people, your friends, relatives or whoever can ask you whatever question he or she wants to know. In this site, people can ask you crazy questions like, “who is your crush, do you pray, have you done this?” Basically, people can ask whatever question they want to throw you, they can also keep their identity by being anonymous in their questions. This is the feature of the network that makes it a hype, being anonymous. Thru this site you can now know what people think about you, feel towards you, and even know what label you are wearing.
We are branded or labeled by our actions, words, thoughts, personality and lifestyle. Of course, if we are often drunk we can easily be labeled as a drunkard, if we are often seen in bars and parties we can be labeled as a party man/woman and a lot more situations can trigger the label we impress to others. Once again, the questions is what’s your label? According to Romans 8:29, “He chose them to become like his Son.” It is clearly said in this verse that our Father wants us to be like His son Jesus Christ. He wants us to be known by our being a Christian, but the question still remains, what is your label?
I once heard a sermon at our church that asked a simple question, “What is the best version of the bible?” In an instant I answered, “NIV!” The pastor said that none of our answers are right. Then after He said that the best version of the bible is US! For it is thru our lives and our lifestyle the bible we read can be known by others. It is thru our actions and words the bible can be read by others. Jesus said that we are the SALT and the LIGHT of the world (Matthew 6:13-16).
